Eniko Kubinyi is a Hungarian ethologist and biologist studying dog behaviour and cognition. She is a Professor at the Department of Ethology at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary. She is also the founder of the Senior Family Dog Project and the Canine Brain and Tissue Bank, research groups at Eötvös Loránd University that study the cognitive ageing of dogs in human environments. Kubinyi has received several awards for his work, including the APA Comparative Psychology Award in 2004 and the L'Oréal-UNESCO Award for Women in Science in 2018. Her research has helped to shed light on the evolution of dog behaviour and the unique relationship between dogs and humans. She is a fellow of the Young Academy of Europe and a founding member of the Hungarian Young Academy.
